The Lindbergh Strings Merchandise website is now open!  Short sleeve and long sleeve T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, hats, and water bottles are all available to order between now and November 14th!

Our FORTE members voted at the general meeting this week, and the WINNER was.... Fiddler on the Roof!  For new families, you may be wondering what we are voting for.....

Our biggest fundraiser each year is a raffle for tickets to see a show at the Fabulous Fox.  We voted to see which show we should we would use for the raffle.  Details about the raffle tickets and when we select a winner will be coming in the near-ish future.  For details about the show, click here.

Start out at Culver's on Rusty Road for dinner to see Strolling Strings play and then come by Truman Middle School to learn more about FORTE and the strings program at Lindbergh!  

Ms. Kizer put on a 4 day Fiddle camp at the end of July that the kids absolutely loved!  Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced level students had their own hour long class each day and learned 3-4 songs by ear in that short time!  At the end of the camp, parents brought a pot luck lunch and enjoyed listening to all of the songs and even a little improv! 

It was a great way to meet the new teacher, meet a few new friends, and have some fun learning Irish, Celtic, Gypsy, and more tunes!
